Minecraft developer Mojang is working on a new subscription service for Minecraft called Realms. You’ll pay each month to use Realms, and it will give you more amazing stuff than normal Minecraft. One of these things will be mini-games.

You’ll be able to invite 20 other players to your private Realm to play the mini games, which include FVDisco’s Cake Defense 2, SethBling’s Blocks vs Zombies and Autospleef, Hypixel’s The Walls and Dragnoz’s Dash of Doom. They’re games you can play with mods right now, but if you’re not very good at modding Minecraft then Realms will make it super-easy to play these games.

The mini-games will replace everything on your server with the blocks needed to make the game, but don’t worry! After you’ve finished you can reset it all back to what you had made yourself, so you progress on that amazing build you were doing won’t be destroyed.

Minecraft Realms is currently only available to people in Sweden, but it will be coming to the rest of the world soon.
