Get your pickaxes ready, it’s time to mine like you’ve never mined before. And you’ll need the blocks, because there’s more space than ever to build on in Minecraft Pocket Edition. More space than you’ll ever need, actually: finally the mobile version of everyone’s favourite game is getting infinite worlds. Hooray!

Infinite worlds are coming to Minecraft Pocket Edition in a huge patch that adds a massive amount of new things. Also included in version 0.9.0 are caves, new blocks, flowers, wolves, new monsters, new biomes, villages, mineshafts, lakes, killer mushrooms, and much more! There’s so much being added, it may feel like a completely different game.

These additions will help bring Minecraft Pocket Edition closer to the PC and console versions, so it wont feel like such a smaller game on phones and tablets. The patch will release on Thursday 10th July, so look out for an update on the App Store.
