There’s a new Skylanders game coming to town: Skylanders Swap Force! It’s released on the 18th October, and will contain more characters than any Skylanders game before it.

Skylanders Swap Force will be developed by a new studio: Vicarious Visions. In the game you’ll be able to make new characters by ‘swapping’ the tops and bottoms of different Skylanders. To make it happen in game you’ll have to do the swap with the figures, such as putting the legs of Swash Buckler on the body of Blast Zone.

There are 16 new characters than can be mixed and matched to make different Swap Force abilities. On top of that, there’s another 16 new normal Skylanders, 16 new figures of older characters in new poses, and 8 new light-up Light-Core characters. That’s a lot of new figures!

There will still be plenty of action in Skylanders Swap Force
