After months of waiting we finally know when Super Smash Bros. will release on Wii U. The date you need to know is December 5th.

Of course, the date does depend on where you live. If like BoxMash you live in the UK, December 5th is the date you need to know, as that is the European release date. Things are a little different in North America, so if you’re from the United States you’ll be able to buy Super Smash Bros. Wii U on November 21st.

You’ll be able to buy Super Smash Bros. in a few different ways. You could buy it on your Wii U and download it from the eShop. Or you could buy it on disc from a shop or online store. If you buy on disc, there are some bundles you could buy. The Super Smash Bros. Wii U + amiibo pack comes with a Mario amiibo figure to get you started with Nintendo’s Toys-to-Life games straight away. Or you could get the Super Smash Bros. Wii U + GameCube Controller Adapter pack which comes with the game and an adapter so you can play with your old GameCube controller if you prefer that to the Wii U gamepad.
