Hearthstone, the great World of Warcraft card game for PC and iOS, is getting a cool new single-player adventure: Curse of Naxxramas. You need to buy the adventure, but like decks of cards and tournament tickets in Hearthstone, it can be bought using the gold you earn for winning games.

The adventure takes place in a floating dungeon, split up into different sections or ‘wings’. The first wing – called the ‘Arachnid Quarter’ – will be free to play, but other wings will cost 700 gold to get into. You can also pay real money for them, at £5 per wing.

In the Arachnid Quarter, you play cards against three bosses: Anub’Rekhan, Grand Widow Faerlina and Maexxna. With each victory you’ll earn new cards to use in your deck. The Arachnid Quarter will open sometime this month, and one new wing will open each week. The other wings are the Plague Quarter, Military Quarter, Construct Quarter and Frostwyrm Lair.

If you’re looking to play Hearthstone for the first time, download it on PC from Battle.net or on your iPad from the App Store. Then take a look at this great Hearthstone guide video from Family Gamer TV to learn how to play!
