F1 Race Stars, the crazy karting Forumula 1 game, is on its way to the Wii U in a Powered Up Edition.

The game takes famous race circuits from around the world and turns them into Mario Kart-like tracks to race on. World-class drivers get the same treatment, becoming bobble-head cartoons in racing-kart versions of their famous cars.

The Powered Up Edition for the Wii U will add four extra tracks and nine new accessory packs to the game, as well as adding features for the GamePad and motion control. You’ll also be able to race using your Mii if you don’t fancy being one of the pro F1 drivers.

The F1 Race Stars: Powered Up Edition release date is December 2013, and will be available to download from the Wii U eShop.
