We love Mario Kart at BoxMash, and can’t wait to play Mario Kart 8 on WiiU. And now we’ve learnt something new that means we really, really want to play it. Mario Kart 8 will have tracks with anti-gravity, meaning your kart will float on the air and even go upside down!

The guys at Official Nintendo Magazine found out that the anti-gravity bits of Mario Kart 8 were influenced by the F-Zero games, which were racing games set in the future where all the cars could fly. The new tracks in Mario Kart 8 will also be narrower than the last game, so you’d best sharpen your driving skills!

All the karts will now be able to fly over big gaps

Mario Kart 8 will also have more customisation than ever before. You’ll be able to change the tyres, body and glider on all the karts in the game. Are you excited for this? Mario Kart 8 is released on WiiU next year. Let us know what you think of the new features, tweet us using the button below.
