Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire release later on this month, and some of the game’s Pokémon are much more difficult to catch than others. If you want to add a Latias or Latios to your collection, you’ll need an Eon Ticket. The problem is, you can find or buy an Eon Ticket in the game. The only way you can find one is through StreetPass.

Eon Passes can only be picked up from someone who already has one, so make sure you have StreetPass activated and get out there! When someone who already has the ticket connects with you, you’ll get a ticket too. With the Eon Ticket you can visit the Southern Island and get into the area where the Latias and Latios Pokémon roam. You’ll then be able to battle and capture one like a normal Pokémon.

To get the whole thing started, Nintendo will be giving a small amount of Eon Tickets out to members of the community. For example, in North America Play! Pokémon League leaders will be given codes to give out to players at a thousand Pokémon League competitions. Then, with the use of StreetPass, those lucky players will then spread the Tickets to people they pass on the street, who will then pass on to other people, and so on until every player has picked up an Eon Ticket through StreetPass. It’ll take some time to spread across the world, so don’t expect to grab a Latias or Latios as soon as you start playing.

The Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire release date is November 38th on Nintendo 3DS. To read and see more about the game, check out our Pokemon channel.
