There’s a new Pokémon anime on its way that tells the story of the very first Pokémon adventure, which many players will have experienced in the original Pokémon Red and Blue games on the Gameboy. Check out the awesome trailer below.

Pokémon Origins will follow Pokémon trainer Red as he chooses his first Pokémon from Professor Oak’s lab, before heading out to explore Kanto and catch ’em all! He’ll have to battle Team Rocket, his rival Blue, and plenty of Gym leaders along the way, before proving his talent in the Pokémon League!

The series will be shown over four episodes on Pokémon TV. The first episode will show on November 15th, and the following three episodes will be added to the website during the week.
