Quite often we see some amazing Minecraft builds of amazing places from films, like this Hogwarts castle from Harry Potter. But this new build isn’t inside a computer game, it’s made of real-life LEGO bricks! It’s Rivendell from The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, the city where Elrond and the elves live.

The city was built by Alice Finch and David Frank, and is made of two hundred thousand LEGO bricks. The detail is amazing, and has everything from the circle where the Fellowship first came together, to the river and waterfall where Gandalf and Saruman talk about the evil that is rising in the east.

Alice and Dave has also built some other amazing LEGO models, including Hogwarts and some really complicated castles, but they thought that Rivendell would be super challenging to make and would show off their skills.
