Nintendo have released a new video showing off how the open world in The Legend of Zelda Wii U will look. Check it out below, where you get to see Link journey to lots of new areas along with his faithful horse Epona.

This is the first time a Zelda game has had such a massive world. Other Zelda games have always had big areas, but in Zelda Wii U you’ll be able to go absolutely everywhere. If you can see a mountain in the distance, you’ll be able to go find it!

It looks like we’ll have lots of options on the way, too. Watch how when Link jumps off a cliff he uses a big blanket like a parachute to glide down towards the floor.

The combat looks good fun too, with Link being able to launch himself off Epona’s back and fire his bow in slow-motion!

The Legend of Zelda Wii U release date is sometime in 2015. Hopefully we’ll have a real date very soon. Until then, visit the Nintendo channel for all the best stories about Wii U and 3DS games.
