Minecraft is finally out on next-gen platforms! Jordan from Family Gamer TV has been getting to grips with the PlayStation 4 version, which features some great split screen play and also allows you to remotely play the game on your PS Vita. Check out this video to see how she got on with the first half an hour of Minecraft: PS4 edition.

In the video you’ll be able to see the brand new tutorial section of Minecraft, that helps out players who may never have played Minecraft before. We think you’ll agree that there’s a lot to learn in Minecraft, so this seems a really good new feature.

To play away from the big screen you can use a PS Vita with the ‘Remote Play’ feature. This works really well with Minecraft PS4 edition, and whilst it’s not as smooth and easy as playing on the PS4 with the DualShock 4 controller, it’s a great portable experience.
