Minecraft on PS Vita is the real deal

If you’re worried that Minecraft on PS Vita will be a limited experience like it is in Minecraft Pocket Edition, don’t worry: this is the real deal. Minecraft on PS Vita is exactly the same as Minecraft on Xbox and PlayStation, so you can do everything in the Vita version that you can on the normal Minecraft versions. Even better, for people who haven’t played Minecraft before there’s a tutorial that explains exactly how to play. Andy from Family Gamer TV has been having a look in this new video.

Adding a tutorial is an excellent idea. Can you remember how big Minecraft felt when you first played, and how it was a bit confusing to start with? The tutorial is like having a friend show you how Minecraft works, which is great for people who have never played before. Of course it doesn’t tell you everything; the best bits of Minecraft is exploring and finding out how things work on your own!

The PS Vita is a powerful little machine so the game looks great on the little screen, and controls really well with the twin sticks. It really is the complete Minecraft experience. The worlds are also 36 times bigger than on PS3, and also can use your PS3 saves so you won’t have to lose anything. Excellent!
