The new Xbox One will come with a Kinect camera far more powerful than the Xbox 360 version. The people at development studio Rare have been using the new power of Kinect to make the best sports game yet. In this video they explain how the Kinect works, and why it makes their new game Kinect Sports Rivals awesome.

Because the new Kinect is more sensitive and can see colours, Rare have made it so the Kinect will scan your face and make a cartoon version of you in the game. So in Kinect Sports Rivals, you’ll actually see yourself in the game, instead of having to use your Xbox Avatar like you did in the first Kinect Sports. You’ll then be able to compete in rock climbing, tennis, football, jet skiing, and sharp-shooting with other players, who all look like they do in real-life!
