The sequel to last year’s amazing Disney Infinity is finally here, and it’s jam packed full of Marvel comic book goodness and an extra dose of Disney magic. But is it any good? Andy from Family Gamer TV has been taking a look to see just how well Disney Infinity 2.0 plays, and gives his verdict on how good it is.

As we all expected, Disney Infinity 2.0 is brilliant. The play sets offer many hours of great crime-fighting missions and bring a great story to the game for each of the sets of heroes: The Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Ultimate Spider-Man. The missions are more difficult than those in Disney Infinity 1, but the easy, medium, and hard difficulty modes means that every player has a skill level to choose from.

The figures are amazing, and there are lots to collect. As these characters level up, their new skills and XP are saved to the figure itself, so you can take your Captain America or Black Widow to a friend’s house and still have all your skills available. This even works across platforms, so if you play on PS3 your figure will still work with an Xbox One or Wii U.

Overall, Disney Infinity 2.0 is a great new addition to to the Disney series, and will be a big hit with families this year. There’s only one question left, then: which super hero will you play as first?
