The console editions of Minecraft have been missing one big feature from the PC version: Adventure Mode. Thankfully Title Update 14 is bringing the mode to Xbox 360 and PS3, along with a great selection of other changes.

You can see the new menus and systems in this four-player split screen view from Title Update 14. Looks like we’ll be getting the anvil and some trading options, making the console versions a lot more interesting.

Adventure mode will come with pre-made maps to explore either on your own or with friends in multiplayer, and will give you something more focused to do instead of mining and creating.

Title Update 14 for Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition and PlayStation 3 Edition will be released sometime later this year.
